Kevin Matthews is the Head of Electrification at First Student, where he leads the strategy shaping the company’s transition to electric mobility. He oversees the development and deployment of technologies that support the electrification of one of North America’s largest school bus fleets.

Kevin drives innovations across 45,000 vehicles, including more than 450 electric buses that have completed over six million miles. With over 30 years in the environmental sector, he previously served as co-project director of the Clinton Global Initiative EV School Bus project.
