Kurt Johnson is the Community Energy Resilience Director at The Climate Center, leading California vehicle-to-grid integration legislation and policy. He brings experience across the energy sector, having served in senior roles at Telluride Energy, Recurrent Energy, the California Public Utilities Commission, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Kurt began his career working in Congress on energy and environmental policy, giving him a foundational understanding of how legislation shapes energy systems. Based in the USA, he focuses on advancing community energy resilience through practical, policy-driven approaches to grid modernization.
