Maria Fields leads strategy and business development at Sprocket Power, driving programmatic adoption of the Electrification and Managed Microgrid offering through partnerships. Her work centers on market access for distributed energy resources (DERs), scaling proven approaches to smaller commercial buildings.

Maria brings 15 years of experience in advanced building technology and the grid transition. As a co-founder of JouleSmart Solutions, she developed and launched two pay-for-performance efficiency initiatives, establishing frameworks for valuing energy reduction. She speaks regularly on policy and market development for performance-based DERs.
